Alison Curl: September 26 - Member of the Month

Congratulations to Alison Curl our September Member of the Month.
Alison has been a KTL member for over seven months, and in that time she has gone from strength to strength. She began in our Seniors classes, building a solid foundation of strength, mobility and confidence. After a few months, Alison felt ready for the next challenge and transitioned into our 10am Studio Body Blitz classes.
Since making the switch, Alison has consistently attended three classes every week — an incredible achievement that reflects her dedication to becoming stronger, fitter and healthier. Her commitment, attitude and consistency have driven remarkable progress, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far she has come since joining us.
Alison, congratulations on being our September Member of the Month. Your hard work shines through, and we know you’ll only continue to grow from here. A massive well‑deserved congratulations to you!
Over to you Alison:
1. What motivated you to start your health and fitness journey with Key to Life?
To maintain and grow my fitness so I can stay flexible, strong and capable as I age and can support an active, healthy lifestyle as well.
2. What is it that keeps you attending your Key To Life session or sessions on a regular basis?
One month after joining Key To Life, I was diagnosed with osteoporosis, and that became another big motivator to keep showing up to every class.
My goal is to build my muscle mass while strengthening my bones to help me manage my osteoporosis and allow me to get more out of my body.
3. What is your favourite Key to Life Training session or favourite exercise and why?
My favourite Key to Life training session is the 10am Studio Body Blitz class as it helps me to build strength and flexibility and you get to train with other amazing people.
4. If you use any Key To Life recipes, what is your favourite?
I don’t use any Key To Life recipes as I try to follow a Mediterranean diet which is working for me at the moment.
5. What is your biggest accomplishment you have achieved during your time with us at Key to Life?
My biggest accomplishment is moving from the seniors class where I first started to the 10am body blitz classes which challenges me more and how I have been able to stick with 3 classes every week since moving across.
6. What advice would you give somebody just starting at Key to Life?
Give it a try!
The trainers and other participants are awesome and very supportive and can help you on the right path to better health and well-being.
