Obstacle Course

As part of our Winter Warrior challenge we held our annual Key To Life Obstacle Course at Sherborne Primary School on Saturday 27 August 22.


An incredible day for all and congratulations to Julieanne Matheson on being our 2022 Ultimate Winter Warrior and to Jess Carter on her well deserved runner's up award.

I want to say a big thank you.


I was very anxious when I first started training at KTL, not sure if I could do, would I be training with people a lot younger than me, will I feel horrible afterwards and be too sore to be able to do anything.


I am really enjoying my sessions, the challenge has been great and noticing the benefits, feel great both mind and body, lost body fat and look forward to sessions instead of thinking "do I want to do this".


I am leave next week and already thinking ahead of how I will manage to continue the healthy eating and very conscious of not undoing all the achievements of the last 7 weeks.

I would have to say the winter warrior challenge has ignited my competitive spirit again, which has been lacking in the last few years due to injury. 


The comradery between all the KTL members and the fun activities/challenges along the way has been extremely motivating. 


The healthy food plan has kept me on track, I’ve lost weight, toned up, gained strength and feel energised throughout the day! 


Feeling strong and healthy, while having a laugh, keeping motivated, and being challenged is what it’s all about.

I have loved being involved in the whole experienced and the overall challenge to improve my eating habits.


I have always found it hard to keep a constant weight over the winter period, in the past, but can say that this year I have been successful to not put on weight during this winter period.

Key to Life has made looking after yourself enjoyable and rewarding.


The Trainers not only test you but guide you and most of all understand you with their professional and friendly caring way.


Whether your job is stressful and demanding they certainly ensure that Training is rewarding.


As you can see from the photos Work life can be a challenge however Training helps you stay focused and balanced.

I have been training with Key To Life for just over 1.5 years now and have seen so many improvements within myself.


Through the support and guidance of the personal trainers, I have discovered how fun and rewarding group exercise and PT sessions can be.


Every session is different and challenging which keeps me interested and motivated to achieve my goals.

Sat 12th June 21 - Stadium Stomp MCG

The Stadium Stomp Event is back and so are we with our 8 week Training Package to get you fit and ready to conquer the 7,300 steps at the MCG.

Our Training Package will commence after the Easter break on Saturday 17th of April. 

More details on the training program will be explained upon registering to our Stomp Squad Team.

If you haven't participated in Stadium Stomp before or if you have and want to take it on again then let us help get you ready and we will get it done as a team from start to finish.

Sat 7th March 21 - International Womens Day 'Be Inspired Group Session' 

Our Key to Life Be Inspired Group Session is to allow like minded women to come together to focus on their own Health and Well-Being. This 1 hour outdoor full body session is open to all fitness levels and age groups and will be run at Sherbourne Primary School starting at 9am. Bring your Mum, Sister, Daughter or a Work Colleague and get involved in this fun and motivating session that will leave you feeling Energised and Inspired.

Sat 28th March 20 - Spartan 5km Sprint

Our next KTL Event is the Spartan 5km Sprint on Saturday 28th of March in Tooradin. This is a Fun and Challenging Obstacle course event where we will train you up to complete the 5km course with fellow KTL Members. Our 8 Week training package is due to commence Sat the 15th of Feb. 27th October 19 - Run For The Firies

Our next KTL Event is the local Run for the Firies Fun Run on Sunday 27th Oct.
There is a 10.6km, 6km and 4km Run or walk so there is something for everyone to get involved in.
Our 8 week training package starts Saturday 31 August at the 8.30am RunFit Sessions.

- 10th Birthday Celebration

We are turning 10 years old and to celebrate we are holding a birthday bash at Suwan Thai Restaurant on Main Road in Lower Plenty (opposite Lower Plenty Shops).
We would like to invite all our current and past KTL Members, Friends and Family to come party with us and look back on what has been an amazing, inspiring and unforgettable 10 years keeping the community fit, healthy and achieving their goals.

7th September 19 - Women's Health Week

This upcoming week is Women's Health Week between the 2nd-7th of September.
We have so many amazing women looking after their health and well-being here at KTL so this week is all about acknowledging their hard work and creating awareness around the importance of Women Health and Health Related Issues.
Next Sat Bootcamp Session @ 9:30am on 7th of Sept we are celebrating our Female Members and giving away some great prizes to say thanks for being so awesome and inspiring.
This is also an opportunity to bring a friend, sister, daughter or mother to this Session to show them how much fun it is training with other women and getting fit in the great outdoors. If you have a friend or friends that would like to join in on Saturday Bootcamp Session then please let us know and we help get them ready.
